Practicing Teaching

My friend and fellow Folger Shakespeare Seminar participant Nicole has a new blog called Practicing Teaching.  Very reflective, and just the kind of thing I want to encourage people who participate in my GISA conference presentation to try for their own professional development.

I submitted a proposal to do the same presentation at the GCTE (Georgia Council of Teachers of English) conference in February.  I’ll let you know if it’s accepted.

  1. I feel all special now! Thanks for the mention. :)

Hopefully I'll make it to GCTE. I need to look at my calendar and get things in order as I know Feb will be here before I know it.

  2. No problem, Nicole. Let me know if you get to go, and we can meet up and chat. Did you receive the newsletter? Our class was in it! There was my butt in the center of the pic! Not my most flattering side, but what are you going to do? They had convention registration information in the newsletter, but you can also get it from their Web site.

  3. I didn't get the newsletter! I must've gotten left off the list or something . . hmm…I'll have to figure out what's going on there.

  4. Weird. Well, if you need it, I can fax it to you. Otherwise, the forms should be on their site, but like I said, if they're not, just let me know.
